Ignacio Correa is responsible for the direction and implementation of real estate development at MDI. In this capacity, he sources development opportunities, assesses and underwrites potential acquisitions, performs feasibility studies, manages entitlements and oversees MDI's ongoing projects.
Mr. Correa has over 10 years of experience designing and developing projects in the real estate industry. Prior to joining MDI, he was a Principal at Canin & Associates, an urban planning and architectural firm in Orlando, Florida, where he designed and managed diverse projects both in the public and private space throughout the US, Europe, Africa, South America and the Caribbean. Mr. Correa also worked at entrepreneurial real estate firms Samuels & Associates and Taurus Investment Holdings while studying in Boston.
Mr. Correa holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Mendoza in Argentina, a master's degree in Urban Design from the University of Miami and a master's degree in Real Estate from Harvard University.
